Deadly Escalator

Today my mom and I were shopping for a dress for my bat mitzvah party at Forever 21. We looked around on the street level for a while, and then we decided to go upstairs. We got on the escalator, we rode to the top...and then my shoe just got stuck between the floor and the escalator (I was wearing crocs). I tried to pull the shoe out with my foot still in it, but it wasnt working and it was beginning to really hurt my foot (I still have a kinda cut), and then my mom just kinda pushed me out and went off to get a salesperson to help. So I'm standing there, one foor barefoot, and people keep tripping over my poor little right shoe, just dangling there, as they're getting off the escalator. Then this fat lady comes over and asks what happened, and when I tell her she leans down and just pulls the shoe right out! The lady took me to my mom, who was with a salesman, and my mom thanked her and the salesguy said we could get another pair opf shoes there with a 10% discount. So we went downstairs, found some jellies, and bought them . (BTW, jellies are hell uncomfortable.) We're standing in line to buy the jellies, and I take a good look at the sandal. It was a gruesome sight...the strap had fallen off, miraculously in one piece, and the edge of the shoe looked like an alligator had bitten it. So I'm like, "THat's not pretty," and then my mom looks at me and says, "That could have been your toes."
Wow.
It was actually really scary. I mean, I could have had my toes chopped off if my foot had been in there any further, or any longer. I could have had to go to the ER. They might have had to freaking amputate my foot! I am definetely not going on an escalator any time in the near future. So remember: appreciate your piggies!
I'll try and post a picture of the broken shoe on here sooner or later. $5 a look. JK. Or am I?

Make Me a Supermodel

i'm actually starting to like it. I mean, I know before I said it wasn't that great, but it's really not that bad. I mean, it's vaguely interesting. Unlike the Real Housewives series. How can anyone like those? they're SO BORING.
Yes! three day weekend! more time to do nothing and sleep in!
I really have nothiing to say...at all...I'm so bored, I need civilization. Maybe 3-day weekend is actually not so great. idk.
So I'm still kind of mad about camp speers, but at least we're still going this year. it would suck if the hunter kids like hayley and i think in the hay couldnt go just because of two or three kids home sick. it seems like everyones getting the flu, but hopefully it will pass some of us (cough cough me) by. yep. and one more thing...LIVE FROM NY IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE! jk. but seriously...Hayley has a point! COMMMENT! i know i spelled that wrong! pleeeease comment! i will keep pasting this into my future posts* until i get at least five comments on one post. MWAHA.
*see, told you i would do it. :)

uhhh...yeah. and stuff. ooh i watched Make Me a Supermodel and it's like not that great. i mean, it's okay. but it's not THAT great.
oh here's a bit o' newwws. I started playing club penguin again & it is actually fun. there's this new game...it's all asian-like. (AAAH im sorry hayley i DID NOT mean for that to be racist) You go and talk to the Sensei and then you play against other penguins. I'm an orange belt. That's level three. Guess what the highest level is? a BLACK BELT. plagqarism, much? well i guess it isn't. oh blast why'd i go and put a q in plagarism? sillee sillee nomeee.
Hayley has a point! COMMMENT! i know i spelled that wrong! pleeeease comment! i will keep pasting this into my future posts until i get at least five comments on one post. MWAHA.

what should I do? important!

so my parents went out for a walk in the park about two hours ago and they have not come back. call me paranoid but I am really scared that something has happened to them. I tried to call my mom's cell but no one picked up. How much longer should I wait to call the police? I'll add to this post later when they get back. WHEN, not if. WHEN. I'm probably just freaking myself out. still, should I go out and look for them? I don't know what todo! and probably no one will see this post until like tommorow! waah!
Five Minutes Later
okay, so I called my grandpa who lives about five minutes away, and he said that if my parents aren't back in ten minutes he'll come over. so now i'm comforted. a little. I'm still worried, though.
Five Minutes After That
They're home! They came back! I am so relieved!!!!!
sorry this whole post was like a cute little story. happy ending and all. and it all happened in 10 minutes.
but yeah. evidently my parents were just chatting away in the park while i was worrying away at home. grrrr. Ah well, I'll get them back when I can stay out past ten. :)

I'm in culinary! whoo whoo

so today when I was going to school on the subway, i was sitting next to these 2 guys in high school.
guy 1: so I actually did my math hw today!
guy 2: gasp no way
guy 1: yeah. i mean, usually i do all but 2 problems, and then I do one in class, and the other one i just say i didn't get
guy 2: yeah
guy 1: i used to copy my hw from this smart guy who sits next to me in biology, but then the teacher moved him, so now i do't sit next to him anymore
and they were actually being serious! it was really weird. and i could tell guy 1 was really "cool" so guy 2 kept trying to impress him...it could only happen in NYC

Today I "went on holiday" as they say in England

So i went to get my knee checked by some doctor, and it turns out that my knee bone was not injured, my knee is just very badly bruised. so hopefully we are doing something incredibly boring tommorow in gym that I won't mind missing. jk.
so hopefully we didn't do anything important or exciting in school today...if we did, comment about it, please.

Q: Can you twist your knee?

A: Evidently, possibly yes.
Okay. so today...my mom: you have to finish your homework! me: blah my mom: go outside and get some roses in your cheeks! me: asleep my mom: GO OUTSIDE GO OUTSIDE! so finally my mom kicked me out of the house with a scooter. So I was riding along, la dee dah, and then the wheels get stuck on a crack in the sidewalk, and I just...fell. (I'm such a graceful little girl!) So I got back up, and my knee hurt like hell, but I manage to limp back to my building (I barely made it! I was crawling on my hands and knees and hoping for dear life!) and go back in.
my mom (what she should have said): OMG! Chocolatier! Is that--are you--LIMPING??! OMG! Here sit down! Let me get you a hot fudge sundae! i'm so sorry! what can i do so you'll forgive me for forcing you to go outside?
my mom (what she said): (first she was in the bathroom but when she came out) oh, you hurt your knee. Here's a band-aid and some ice. now get back to your homework.
but evidently it was more than a scrape, because five hours later, my knee is still aching. i didnt break it, but it hurts the way a twisted ankle hurts--you can tell that the bone is hurt, but it's not screamingly painful like a broken bone.
SOooo...my theory is that I twisted my knee. thank you, thank you. i know, i'm so deep.

My biggest fans...thank you, thank you
